Summit 20" Under Cabinet Convertible Range Hood, ADA Compliant in White

Summit's selection of specialty appliances includes accessible range hoods specially designed to be installed in compliance with Section 308 and 309 of the ADA Guidelines. Model HC20WWADA is a 20" wide range hood ideal for apartments, senior living kitchens, hotel suites, and other smaller spaces. It comes in a classic white finish constructed from 21 gauge galvanized steel for a clean look and durable design. We include a remote terminal block and wall switch cover to allow the controls to be installed separately from the hood and at a lower, accessible height in accordance with ADA guidelines. The fan can be set at a high or low setting to best meet your ventilation needs. This unit can operate at 270 CFM for thorough ventilation. Airflow is directed upwards at a slight angle, ensuring smoke and odors won't blow towards the home chef. This hood ships for ductless/recirculating ventilation (where no exhaust connection to the outside is available) but is convertible for horizontal or vertical ducted ventilation (3 1/4" x 10" rectangular ducting or 7" round, transition required). We include a combination aluminum mesh/charcoal filter to absorb grease, smoke, and odors. This unit accepts a standard light bulb (not included). Both the filter and lens cover snap in place, with no tools required to change out as needed. Note: this hood does not include a power cord and is designed to be hard-wired by a licensed professional.
